Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
3/4 cup chopped onions
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
2 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced jalapeño chili
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup frozen baby peas
1 cooked rice; optional
1 prepared chutney; optional
1 chopped peanuts; optional
1 chopped fresh cilantro; optional
1 plain yogurt; optional
Directions: How to Cook Curry Beef With Rice From Lhj
Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring until browned, about 5 minutes. Add onions, ginger, curry, garlic, jalapeño, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring, until onions are softened, 3 minutes. Add broth and peas; cook until broth is reduced and peas are hot, 2 minutes. Serve with rice and condiments: chutney, chopped peanuts, chopped fresh cilantro and plain yogurt, if desired.
